NO FEAR

New Orleans Foundation for Experiential Arts Renewal [NO FEAR] is an arts education nonprofit dedicated to Experiential Arts and Learning, a transformative approach to artmaking that invites participants to connect, reflect, and relate with one another in meaningful and purposeful ways.

Annual Report

We’re filled with gratitude to all the supporters who have contributed their time, money, and resources to NO FEAR in our first year, and helped further our mission to utilize art and artmaking as tools for humanizing.

In 2025, we provided 19 students from Greater New Orleans, ages 9-19, with free afterschool music education offerings including ensemble rehearsals, individual and group lessons, music theory and piano instruction, performance opportunities, social gatherings, and more.

We invite you to learn more about our inaugural year by scrolling through the adjacent annual report, and looking to the year ahead, we invite you to join NO FEAR in our mission to cultivate “art for heart’s sake” throughout New Orleans and beyond.

New Media

Live Video: Check out NO FEAR’s work in action through our recent collaboration with Bible Way Holiness Church of Kenner, LA and Temple Sinai New Orleans.

With NO FEAR teaching artists working with students from both congregations on a weekly basis, they collectively composed “Dream” together in three months, which reimagines Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have A Dream” speech through song, while inviting audiences to become active participants in the experience.

This performance for an audience of nearly 500 at Temple Sinai’s annual MLK Jr. celebration in January 2026, exemplifies what “breaking the fourth wall” can look like through communal and participatory artmaking, along with how Experiential Arts and Learning can dissolve additional divides in the arts and arts education.
