NO FEAR
New Orleans Foundation for Experiential Arts Renewal [NO FEAR] is an arts education nonprofit dedicated to Experiential Arts and Learning, being an integrative approach to artmaking that serves to connect, reflect, and relate human experiences.
Produced by NO FEAR in partnership with Second Line Arts Collective, New Orleans School of Comedy Arts, and Artivism Dance Theatre, Homes for the Holidays is an Experiential Arts production designed for assisted living home communities, which invites home residents, their families, and facility staffs to become active participants in every performance.
In this holiday-themed, New Orleans-inspired variety show, artists and audiences alike will second line, sing, swing, perform comedy, and much more together, making for an integrative and participatory arts experience that serves to uplift and instill joy.
Led by a talented cast of professional musicians, dancers, and comedians, the initiative also welcomes area youth to perform and experience the magic, meaning, and purpose of making “art for heart’s sake,” especially during a time of year when elderly members in our community may find themselves feeling a bit lonely and blue.

Check out NO FEAR’s mission in action through our recent partnership with There Is Always Hope Foundation, a Louisiana-based nonprofit that utilizes music to advocate for mental health awareness and suicide prevention support.
With NO FEAR teaching artists meeting with students over the course of three months, “Dream” emerged. This original composition reimagines Dr. MLK Jr.’s “I Have A Dream” speech through song and breaks the illusive “fourth wall” of live performances by inviting audiences to become active participants in the experience.
This debut performance of “Dream,” live from Temple Sinai New Orleans, welcomes an audience of over 500 to connect, reflect, and relate through participatory and communal artmaking, being hallmarks of Experiential Arts and Learning.
